ST. PAUL, Minn. - A water main break is impacting morning light rail traffic in St. Paul Thursday.
Metro Transit said the overnight break, near the intersection of Cedar and West 7th, disrupted part of the Green Line, and that water service in the area has been affected as well.
Passengers were originally asked to board westbound Green Line trains on the eastbound platforms between the Central and Capitol/Rice Stations, and warned that they should expect delays and allow extra time.
Thank you for your patience this morning!— Metro Transit (@MetroTransitMN) November 30, 2017
Shortly after 7:30 a.m. Metro Transit tweeted that two-track operations had resumed, but residual delays would likely continue for the morning.
The break could take as long as 4 hours to repair.
