HAM LAKE, Minn. — A motorcyclist is dead after running into a parked car in Ham Lake early Friday.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to reports of a personal injury crash just before 3 a.m. on the 2300 block of Bunker Lake Boulevard NE. When they arrived squads found the lone person on the motorcycle dead. 

Early indications are that the motorcyclist was riding eastbound on Bunker Lake Boulevard, left the road and hit the parked vehicle.

The Midwest Medical Examiners Office will release the name of the victim once an autopsy is performed.
