On Wednesday, I was talking all about Monarch butterflies at Otter Lake Elementary School in White Bear Lake to about 100 fourth graders there.

It’s a STEM (Science Tech Engineering Math) school that incorporates not just science, but Spanish immersion, art and the fascinating biology of Monarch butterfly migration.

I showed them some of my Monarch stories that you can watch at kare11.com/ExploreWithSven.

We tracked where the Monarchs are now: some Monarchs were seen just 600 miles south in Oklahoma!
