Plenty of sunshine on Sunday combined with low-ish dew points in the low 60s makes for a winning combination. Add in high temperatures in the low 80s and the day can't be beat.

The exception to the rule is for far northwestern Minnesota where late day storms are expected. Some could be strong to severe.

Some isolated thunder comes into the forecast for Monday in the metro and much of the state. Any shower or storm should be weak and relatively short-lived. A better chance for more widespread storms sets up midweek.
