GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — The heat and humidity are cranked back up today and tomorrow! We also still have a chance of occasional storms.

After some early morning thunderstorms mostly to our south and west, the midday gets steamy. Highs will be up around 90 today but dew points will be in the very tropical 70s, making for heat indices in the mid to upper 90s. We'll likely see at least a few storms develop this evening for central Minnesota.

Friday is even hotter with temps in the low 90s and dew points perhaps their highest yet in the mid to upper 70s, making for some a heat index of 100+ degrees in the afternoon! Thunderstorms will again be possible late in the evening and overnight with a couple isolated storms Saturday is finally cooler as drier air moves into the region.

Dew points take a big drop from the 70s to the 50s Sunday and highs will be just in the upper 70s Sunday and Monday!
