GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — A beautiful, sun-filled Monday is in store for us. After a cool start we'll see highs warm up to the low 80 this afternoon with a south breeze at 5-10 mph.

Tuesday we get a temporary rise in humidity with dew points in the muggy upper 60s and there will be isolated thunderstorms around because of that moisture increase. RIght now midday into early afternoon is the timeframe for storms in the metro. Temps will be back in the low 80s but with more scattered clouds.

Behind Tuesday's instability settles in cool, dry air for the rest of the week and the start of the fair. Highs will be just in the mid 70s Wednesday, Thursday & Friday with dew points in the 40s & low 50s feeling September-like!

Temps & humidity increase for the next weekend along with the chance of some thunder.
