GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — We've gotten so many fantastic sunrise and sunset pictures lately, and here's a new reason to celebrate them.
Wednesday is our last day of the season with a sunset in the 4 o'clock hour.
Wednesday, the sun set at 4:59 p.m. Thursday's sunset is 5:00.
By this time next month, we'll be gaining almost three minutes of sunlight each day, with the sun dipping below the horizon at 6 in the evening. So hang in there. We're making progress toward spring.
