Here's how to find the latest information on roads and airports as a winter storm affects travel across the Upper Midwest.

MINNEAPOLIS — With a new year comes new rounds of winter weather. Just days into 2023 Minnesota and the Midwest are forecast to be hit by a winter storm that could drop snow rain and ice.

Road crews, airports and airlines are already making plans ahead of the storm. Here's how you can find the latest travel information before leaving home:

MnDOT 511 Travel Information: The Minnesota Department of Transportation tracks the latest road conditions with an interactive map on its 511mn.org website. Visitors can also view highway cameras and plow cameras in MnDOT's system for a live peek at the roads.
