GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Crosser, a fan of the cartoon crime fighters, recently got a chance to help his favorite heroes in a half shell take on their nemesis.
"I defeated Shredder," Crosser said. "Let's just say I put pizza in his face."
Wyatt's battle was part of a live-action music video.
The video was made possible by the Children's Cancer Research Fund and a man named James Orrigo. You can check out his YouTube channel here.
"He tours around the country and visits kids and makes songs," said Whitney Crosser, Wyatt's mom. "And then he makes music videos."
Wyatt met James last year, during a week of chemotherapy treatments to treat neuroblastoma.
"Wyatt was diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma in March of 2018," Whitney said. "Neuroblastoma is a solid tumor that starts, usually, above the kidneys, in the adrenal gland. It requires chemotherapy and surgery and radiation and immunotherapy."
Whitney says Wyatt's scans have been cancer free in recent months, and now that he's regained his super strength, James returned to Minnesota to help create his Ninja Turtle video.
"It felt really good," Wyatt said. "Everything was awesome."
And none of it would have been possible without help from students at Stillwater High School. The video featured singing, dancing and acting by many of the teens.
"I got goosebumps just seeing that. That was so incredible," Whitney said. "There were all these people that we didn't know, who did all this work to make a special day."
Wyatt's journey is far from over. He's undergoing vaccine trial in New York City in hopes of keeping his cancer from returning.
