Lawmakers ponder dyslexia screening
Children with dyslexia often aren't diagnosed soon enough, so teachers and families blame their reading problems on other factors. The Education omnibus bill at the State Capitol would require screening more children and equipping teachers with more training on what characteristics could point to dyslexia.
