Lourey abruptly resigns as DHS commissioner
Human Services Commissioner Tony Lourey abruptly resigned Monday after just six months as the head of the state's largest agency. Gov. Walz said he accepts Lourey's explanation, that someone else would be better suited for the role. Pam Wheelock has agreed to step in as acting commissioner.
