Walz seeks hearings on guns, insulin
Gov. Walz is calling on Senate Republicans to hold interim hearings on gun reform measures such as universal background checks and red flag extreme risk protection orders. Those measures passed the DFL-controlled House, but weren't heard in the Senate. Walz is also seeking hearings on the emergency insulin bill that faltered during the 2019 session. He won't call a special session unless there's agreement ahead of time.
