
After an award-winning career in New York and overseas, Allen Costantini joined KARE 11 in 1984. He has won national and regional awards, including 7 Emmys, and was named "Best Local Reporter" by City Pages.
From 1999-2006, Allen was the Scholarships Chair of the Board of Governors of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences/Upper Midwest Chapter. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from State University of New York in Buffalo, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-1971. Allen is also currently in charge of the KARE 11 News internship program.

Family: Allen and his wife Peggy have one son, Todd, who is an honors graduate of Indiana University and the University of Minnesota Medical School.
