Convention confusion: Bachmann and Couric mix up RNC location

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann has joined CBS anchor Katie Couric with mixing up the location of where the Republicans will be holding their national convention next month.

The 2008 Republican National Convention will be held in Saint Paul from September 1-4.

Bachmann made the mistake during her Monday night appearance on CNN's "Larry King Live."

She was asked by Larry King if Vice President Dick Cheney should attend the convention.

Bachmann said "I think everybody should come to Minneapolis. It's the most beautiful city in the United States."

Last week, Katie Couric also said that the Republican National Convention is being held in Minneapolis.

On Monday night, Couric admitted to her mistake when signing off on her telecast.
