Twins unveil seats to be used at Target Field

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twin unveiled the designs for six different types of seats to be used at Target Field.

The seats are being provided by the Irwin Seating Company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

There will be six different types of seats for Target Field:

  • General Seating
  • Dugout Club
  • Legend's Club
  • Pavilion
  • Champions Club/Suites
  • Bleachers (with backs)

Most of the seats used at Target field will fall under the General Seating category.  They have a seat width of 19"-22" and will have cup holders attached to them.

Crews will begin installing the seats in April.  It may take until December until all the seats are installed at Target Field.

The new seats will be on display for fans at TwinsFest that happens at the Metrodome this weekend.

Irwin Seating Company is the world's largest manufacturer of seating for stadiums, arenas, theaters, auditoriums and lecture rooms.
