Price for natural gas drops
A warm November is contributing to a low demand for heat this fall. That low demand is pushing down the price of natural gas. In the last month, prices have fallen more than twelve percent. In fact, the Energy Information Administration says spot prices are about half of what they were last year. There is now more natural gas stockpiled in the U.S. than at any point in history. Demand for gasoline is also down and oil companies are responding with hundreds of layoffs.
