NEW YORK -- Former Minnesota Jesse Ventura is back on the scene with a new book.
"You know the publishers do get a little leeway when you write a book, so I'm not responsible for the title, in fact, the title scared my wife. she said you're going to put your name on this? and i said, I'm afraid so..." explained former Ventura.
The title of Ventura's new book: American Conspiracies: Lies, Lies and More Dirty Lies that the Government Tells Us.
Ventura says he and a co-writer came up with several alternative theories to what people study in school, and learn from history books. One such alternative theory is that people inside the Bush administration knew the 9/11 attack was coming and allowed it.
Ventura explained on the "Today" show Tuesday, "The Bush administration had an agenda in allowing the 9-11 attacks to occur? You know, it's not so, odd. Look back in history, this is the first time, the gulf of, see, let me say this, the government has no credibility with me anymore.
Ventura says the biggest government coverup is the assassination of JFK.
