Holiday happenings at Mall of America

As the holiday shopping season begins to get more busy, officials at the Mall of America announce a "Christmas list" of events.

BLOOMINGTON, Minnesota — Mall of America officials are spreading cheer to holiday shoppers with a list of entertaining events and activities.

Festival of Trees

Check out the Festival of Trees benefiting Special Olympics Minnesota. The event, which is presented by KARE 11, is a walk-through winter wonderland experience. The trees are decorated by various businesses and organizations throughout the Twin Cities. Guests can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes from their favorite tree, all proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Minnesota.

Minnesota Twins New Uniform Unveiling

On Friday, the Minnesota Twins will unveil their new uniforms. Guests will be able to purchase the new gear exclusively at the event and enjoy photo opportunities with Twins players, alumni and Twins mascot, T.C. Bear.

Friday, Nov. 18

11:30 a.m. – Noon: Unveiling event

Noon – 9 p.m.: Merchandise available for purchase

1 – 3 p.m.: Fan photo opportunity with players

3 – 9 p.m.: Fan photo opportunity with T.C. Bear

Holiday Art Fair

The mall will host a Holiday Art fair with a variety of local vendors to showcase their crafts and artwork. The weekend fair is a good chance to support local artisans.

Saturday, Nov. 19: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

Sunday, Nov. 20: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Nickelodeon Universe Holiday Light Show

Free nightly holiday lights show will be offered at the mall's popular Nickelodeon Universe indoor amusement park. Officials promise a "breathtaking grand finale."

The Santa Experience

The Santa Experience will officially open on Saturday, Nov. 19. Santa photos, movies, and other merchandise will be available for purchase. Guests can book their visits now.

Red Kettle Bell Ringers

The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettles and volunteer bell ringers are back for another season and can be found at the mall's entrances.

No Hunger November

Visit the No Hunger November Hub in Macy’s Court to learn about hunger issues in Minnesota and seven different local hunger relief organizations helping Twin Cities communities. The Walk to End Hunger will be held on Thanksgiving morning at Mall of America.
