The Mary Poppins sequel just added some Hollywood legend star power.
Disney announced on Friday that Angela Lansbury has joined the cast of Mary Poppins Returns, the Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda-led follow-up to the iconic 1964 film.
Original castmember Dick Van Dyke will also be in the film, which is set in 1930s London, the movie will draw from the wealth of material in author P.L. Travers' Mary Poppins series of books, which is where Lansbury comes in.
The 91-year-old actress will play the "Balloon Lady" in the movie, a beloved character from Travers' stories.
Filming for the movie is underway now, but we'll have time to take many spoonfuls of sugar while we wait for it to come out.
Mary Poppins Returns is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day in 2018.
