MINNEAPOLIS - One of the best French restaurants in the Twin Cities confirmed Tuesday they'll close their doors by the end of the year.
The lead host at Vincent A Restaurant said the closing is a personal decision of the owner, Vincent Francoual, and was not an economical or political reason.
She said the Nicollet Mall staple will continue serving its award-winning French cuisine until Dec. 31.
Vincent had been serving diners in downtown Minneapolis for 14 years.
This is the second fine dining restaurant to announce a closure in a week. La Belle Vie announced a week ago that it would close its doors on Oct. 24.
