MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. — Brent Shouler, a captain in the Air National Guard, returned Friday morning after being deployed to Africa.
But after touching down in Minnesota, he made a quick pit stop before returning home. Shouler stopped at Henry Sibley High School to surprise his kids, who he had not seen since August.
Shouler's daughter Madison is a senior and son Nikolas is in the ninth grade.
