GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Spring is abounding and the YMCA is celebrating the month of April with the theme "Shades of Green."
Embracing mother nature, the refreshing outdoors and positive vibes this time of year provide an important part of our overall well-being. As we age, it is encouraged to continue to play and enjoy all that life has to offer, whether it be gardening, birding, hiking or strolling through a local farmers market.
And the highlight of spring and summer for some is camping, which the Y offers at all ages. Kids, young adults and families love to camp at the Y, and they even feature Camp ForeverWell for members of the 55+ community.
