ROBBINSDALE, Minn. -- A man was killed in a house fire in Robbinsdale on Saturday night.
Authorities were called to a home on the 3300 block of Halifax Avenue North around 8:30 p.m. Investigators have released few details but police confirm a man died.
Authorities searched and found no one else inside.
The fire was brought under control around 9:30 p.m. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner arrived on the scene just before 10 p.m.
The victim's name has not been released.
Additional fire departments were called in to assist Robbinsdale while they worked at the scene of the fire.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
