GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans will enroll in new Medicare coverage for 2019.
Open enrollment is from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, 2018. Experts say as current health care coverage winds down, now is the time to do your research and weigh your many options. UCare is statewide and has large networks, including 96 percent of all providers in Minnesota.
UCare’s Brian Eck appeared on KARE 11 to talk about the importance of choosing the right plan for your health needs, budget and lifestyle.
Got Medicare questions? Minnesota’s largest “Medicare Meetup” is Thursday, Oct. 18 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mall of America in Bloomington. Medicare de-complicators, a pharmacist and doctor will gather in the mall’s main rotunda.
There will also be lots of fun games, giveaways and a few local celebrities on hand. Admission is free. The public is invited.
