MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis Police are investigating a shooting that turned fatal when the victim died in the hospital three weeks later.
Officers first responded to the report of shots fired on the 900 block of Hawthorne at about 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 7. Police say officers found a man in his 30s lying in the street, with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was brought to Hennepin County Medical Center. On Sept. 29, he died.
Police canvassed the area immediately after the shooting and did interviews. No one has been arrested yet, and the identity of the victim has not been released.
