Proposal would allow alcohol home delivery in Wisconsin

The bill would require the person ordering alcohol and the person delivering it to be 21.

If you live in Wisconsin, soon you might be able to get alcohol delivered right to your door.

According to the NBC affiliate in Green Bay, lawmakers recently introduced the Wisconsin Home Delivery Act, which would allow someone who's 21, and can prove it with ID, to have alcoholic beverages delivered to their home.

The person receiving the order would need to be sober.

The bill would also require that the delivery person is 21-years-old and completes a bartender training program.

Alcohol delivery is permitted in Minnesota.
