If there's a constant on Halloween in Richfield, it's that kids will be out trick-or-treating. And many of them will stop by the home of William and Liz Peterson.

For the past nine years the couple has created a haunted Halloween house they call Peterson's Purgatory.

Last year, about 400 people stopped by, but the Peterson's are always happy to have new guests.

"We love autumn, it's beautiful here in Richfield, and it's our last chance to get out before we all start to hiberante," said Liz Peterson. "It's a very exciting time and something we can share with a lot of people," she added.

You'll go through a yard full of scary figures like skeletons, creepy dolls, a giant spider, and much more. And if you make it through the yard and to the front steps, the Peterson's will give you a full-sized candy bar.

You can find their home in the 6300 block of 12th Avenue in Richfield, and more information on Peterson's Purgatory here.
