ST PAUL, Minn. — An SUV crashed into a building in St. Paul Friday morning.
After the crash, officials condemned the building.
"There are some structural issues with the building due to some columns that have been hit, and at this time they’re trying to support the columns from underneath," Deputy Fire Chief Roy Mokosso told KARE.
The people who live in the apartments upstairs at the corner of W. 7th St. and Leech St. will need to find a new place to stay.
The store "Scout" on the first floor will be boarded up and closed until further notice.
No one was hurt in the car or in the building.
The triangular Victorian building structure is known as the Thauwald Building and was built in 1890, 129 years ago.
