MINNEAPOLIS — Twin Cities Summer Jam ticket purchasers have noticed possible unexpected charges on their credit cards.

Representatives of the music festival are following up with purchasers to void duplicate ticket charges.

The duplicate charges were attributed to the "sheer surge of traffic," according to Twin Cities Summer Jam General Manager Lauren MacLeash.

Ticket sales have been delayed until March 8 at 10 a.m.

Jerry Braam, CEO of Twin Cities Summer Jam issued the following statement:

Our fans came out in droves for the ticket pre-sale, and unfortunately it didn’t go as smoothly as we had hoped. The surge of traffic to our website was more than our system could handle and we are working 24/7 to get it resolved.

We have assured our ticketholders than any unintended credit card charges will be reversed as quickly as possible, and confirmation emails will be issued soon.

We are delaying ticket sales until Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. to ensure that our system can accommodate the volume of requests.

We apologize for this setback, but rest assured we are committed to presenting an incredible experience at Twin Cities Summer Jam this July.
