MnDOT announces statewide road closures for 2019 Memorial Day weekend.

MINNEAPOLIS — Before hitting the road for Memorial Day weekend, you’ll want to take note of some potential road construction trouble spots.

MnDOT released its weekly “Weekend Traffic Impacts” report for the metro and statewide for the holiday weekend. In the Twin Cities, expect lane and ramp closures to continue along several freeways:

• I-35W in Minneapolis, from downtown Minneapolis to the Crosstown

• I-35W between Roseville and Lino Lakes.

• I-35W Minnesota River Bridge between Burnsville and Bloomington

• I-494 between South St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights.

Statewide, MnDOT says to expect detours on some state highways, including a few heading to popular camping and cabin destinations:

• U.S. Highway 14 & MN Highway 15 closed in New Ulm

• U.S. Highway 14 closed in Tracy

• MN Highway 15 closed between St. Augusta and Kimball, detour continues through July

• MN Highway 27 closed in Little Falls, detour continues through September

• MN Highways 28 and 29 closed between Starbuck and Glenwood

• MN Highway 55 closed between Annandale and Maple Lake

• MN Highway 60 between Wabasha and Zumbro Falls, detour continues through late June

• U.S. Highway 71 closed at the Kabekona River bridge in Hubbard County

• MN Highway 119 closed between Hwy. 12 and Hwy. 59 in Appleton
