The Minnesota Golden Gophers are headed to the Quick Lane Bowl the day after Christmas.
The Gophers will face Georgia Tech at Ford Field in Detroit at 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 26. The game will be shown on ESPN.
Minnesota has gone to the Quick Lane Bowl twice. The last time was 2015, and they beat Central Michigan 21-14. This will be the Gophers' 20th bowl game all-time.
Tickets are available online and priority deadline is 5 p.m. Dec. 10. After that, tickets are first come, first served.
The Gophers finished the season 6-6 and earned a spot in the bowl after beating Wisconsin 37-15 on the road in the final game of the season, reclaiming Paul Bunyan's Axe.
Georgia Tech finished the season 7-5 overall.
