Towns sidelined for 2 more weeks

MINNEAPOLIS — The Timberwolves trying to piece things together down the stretch and in the immediate future will be without their star player Karl-Anthony Towns.

The team announcing today Towns has a wrist fracture and is expected to be out for the next two weeks and will be reassessed at that time.

Towns has played in 35 games this season and is averaging a career-best 26.5 points and 10.8 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game.
