RIO DE JANEIRO - The U.S. Women's Basketball team is heavily favored to win gold in Rio.

Before Team USA even hit the court, KARE 11's Dave Schwartz caught up with Maya Moore, one of four Minnesota Lynx on the Olympic roster.

As to what they need to do to bring home the gold?

"We just have to continue to do all the little things we know we have to do to continue to play at our best, whether that's getting rest, staying hydrated, nutrition, just asking any questions so that we're mentally ready and on the same page and just playing hard," Moore said. "When we play hard - we have so much depth that we can be confident to give it our all for that segment of the game."

Moore said the roster is very talented and very deep.

"I think everyday we've been together we've gotten it a little more and understanding each other better so that we're more fluid. This team, in general, has a good feel," Moore said.

As to finding her Lynx teammates on the floor?

"It probably just naturally happens because we're so used to hanging out and we're comfortable with each other -- but I'll probably find myself following Lindsay Whalen around like usual," she joked.
