World Champion U.S. Women's Soccer Team coming to Allianz Field

ST PAUL, Minn. — Want proof Minnesota is gaining a reputation as a market with a serious appetite for soccer?

Fresh off winning the 2019 FIFA World Cup, the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team is coming to Allianz Field as part of its five-stop victory tour. 

Minnesota United FC announced Wednesday that the USWNT will take on Portugal in St. Paul Tuesday, September 3 at 7 p.m. The match will be televised on ESPN2 and carried on the ESPN App. 

Tickets go on sale to the public Wednesday, July 31, at 10 a.m. central on the USA Soccer website. Tickets are not available at the Allianz Field box office except on the day of the match. Due to the limited capacity at Allianz Field group tickets will not be made available for this event.

The 2019 USWNT Victory Tour kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 3 when the USA hosts the Republic of Ireland at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. It will be the USA’s first game on home soil after winning the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. 

Besides Pasadena and St. Paul, the USWNT will play in Philadelphia Aug. 29 as part of the team's Victory Tour. Two other dates have not yet been confirmed.
