Body identified in Bloomington homicide

Authorities say the body discovered by police in Woodbury has been positively identified as William Albrecht, who went missing Nov. 15.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Authorities say the body discovered by police in Woodbury has been positively identified as William Albrecht.

Police say he went missing Nov. 15. from a Bloomington home.

Three people who were last seen with Albrecht, a 31-year-old woman and two men, ages 26 and 32, had originally been arrested pending a homicide investigation, according to police.

Authorities now say that the 31-year-old woman has been released from the Hennepin County Adult Detention Facility, pending further charges in the investigation. 

Investigators searched the Bloomington house on Tuesday.

Authorities say they saw evidence that, "some sort of trauma was inflicted on somebody."

The investigation then led police to a Costco in Woodbury, where Albrecht's body was found.
