ST PAUL, Minn. — The St. Paul Saints have announced that WinterSkate and SuperSlide hosted at CHS Field this year are being canceled for the weekend of Dec. 27-29 due to the unseasonably warm weather.

The team tweeted that any tickets that have been purchased for the Securian Financial SuperSlide for this weekend can be redeemed at the box office for any other day through February 21.

The Wells Fargo WinterSkate moved out of Landmark Plaza for the first time since 2005, joining the SuperSlide at CHS Field as part of the new Destination Winter Saint Paul event at the ballpark.

Destination Winter Saint Paul is set to conclude on Feb. 22 with "The Greatest Day Parade," an event that honors members of the gold medal-winning 1980 U.S. Men’s Olympic Ice Hockey team, 40 years to the day after their victory over the Soviet Union in Lake Placid.

Full details about Destination Winter Saint Paul can be found on the St. Paul Saints website.
