You know him as Gordon Bombay from The Mighty Ducks or Andrew Clark in The Breakfast Club.

Emilio Estevez returned to the Twin Cities, but he wasn't here to talk hockey or previous films.

He held a Q&A session at The Hennepin County Library- Minneapolis Central location to talk about his new film "The Public."

More than 200 people came out for a pre-screening of the film.

Estevez directed and starred in the film about downtown Cincinnati Librarians who have the homeless decide to take shelter in their library for the night because of the bitter cold.

Estevez says the movie highlights the issue of homelessness and the importance of libraries in our society.

"There's a great mix of patrons that come thru these doors. Everybody is welcome. Nobody is turned away. It is free for all and it is a judgement free zone," said Estevez.

His new film hits theaters April 5th.
