Pets saved from Bloomington fire

No people were home and no injuries were reported, according to the chief.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Multiple pets were rescued from a fire in Bloomington on Friday night.

The fire began in the garage, which became fully engulfed and then extended into the house, according to Bloomington Fire Chief Ulysses Seals.

No people were home when the fire started and no injuries were reported, according to the chief.

A dog and multiple cats were rescued from the home and reunited with their family.

The fire occurred on the 5300 block of River Bluff Curve.
