Victims identified in Scott County snowmobile crash

The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The female passenger was brought to the hospital, where she was also pronounced dead.

BLAKELEY TOWNSHIP, Minn. - The Scott County Sheriff's Office has identified the two people killed in a Sunday snowmobile crash.

According to the sheriff's office, a Ski-Doo snowmobile struck a power pole on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of 280th West and Lehnert Lane in Blakeley Township. Deputies responded to the crash at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The driver, Jeremy Michael Pumper, 42, from Le Sueur, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Crystal Jo Olson, 33, also from Le Sueur, was brought to the hospital, where she was also pronounced dead.

Both were wearing helmets.
