Cambridge officials to reveal details about allegations against police chief

More details about the allegations against Cambridge Police Chief Tim Dwyer will be released on Monday.

CAMBRIDGE, Minn. – Cambridge Police Chief Tim Dwyer has been on paid administrative leave since October 27, for what the city administrator described to council members as “allegations of misconduct.”

City Administrator Linda Woulfe told KARE 11 that a special city council meeting will be held on Monday November 13. at 3 p.m. to discuss the allegations.

After the meeting Cambridge officials will release more details about the allegations to the public.

On Friday Oct. 27 Linda Woulfe sent an email to council members:

“Today at 1:00 pm, I put Chief Dwyer on paid administrative leave while the City conducts a review of allegations of misconduct. I have received information from the Police Department that is very concerning and a thorough review is in order.”
