'Broken Eyes' makes world premiere this weekend

The documentary is a collection of stories about patients who have been harmed after receiving the surgery.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival is underway and a local filmmaker is debuting her documentary on Sunday.

Broken Eyes is about complications following Lasik eye surgery. The documentary is a collection of stories about patients who have been harmed after receiving the surgery. 

Filmmakers Dana Conroy and Jeff Johnson joined KARE 11 Saturday to discuss the film.

World premiere screening of Broken Eyes at the 43rd Annual Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival 

  • Sunday, April 14 at 4:20 pm and Monday, April 15 at 4:30 pm at the Main Cinema in Minneapolis.
