MINNEAPOLIS — The calendar has flipped to March and St. Patrick's Day is just a couple weeks away, so let's start the party early with some tunes.
JigJam is an Irish bluegrass band that's growing in popularity and they have released a new album called Across The Pond.
The album's theme is based on Irish people traveling to and settling in America and the periods before, during and after immigration.
The band performed at Pantages Theater in Minneapolis Friday night and is playing at the Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, Wisconsin Saturday night
JigJam has fans all over the world and was recently added to Spotify's New Bluegrass playlist.
The multi-award-winning quartet is made up of Jamie McKeogh (lead singer and guitar), Daithi Melia (5-string banjo and dobro), Gavin Strappe (mandolin and tenor banjo), and Kevin Buckley (fiddle).
