MINNEAPOLIS — A big party is planned for horse racing's biggest race.
The Winner's Circle: The Kentucky Derby Party will be at the Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis, featuring a runway show and silent auction before the race.
Party officials said the best part is that 25% of all ticket sales plus the silent auction proceeds will go to the benefit of This Old Horse.
This Old Horse is a private, nonprofit, accredited sanctuary for retired, rescued and recovering horses.
