MINNEAPOLIS — As the old saying goes, "When in Minnesota, do as the Minnesotans do". And KARE 11 Sunrise Anchor Jason Hackett, a newcomer to Minnesota, has really been taking that to heart.
Recently, he got to cross another thing off his Minnesota bucket list - fishing on beautiful lake Minnetonka.
For a successful Lake Minnetonka fishing trip, first we needed the essentials from our friends at Karl’s Fishing and Outdoors at Mall of America - including a rod, reel, and bait and tackle.
On his first Minnesota fishing outing, Jason learned that finding success out on the water is like anything in life -- one part skill, one part patience, and a little bit of luck.
