MINNEAPOLIS — It's not just you — Metro Transit reported a software issue is affecting riders' credit card purchases Friday.
The transit company said people planning to take public transportation around the metro should be prepared to use cash or the Metro Transit app while it works to correct the outage.
A statement on its website said Friday afternoon that customers experienced the issue while using their credit cards to make purchases at ticket machines, online and by phone, and also while using their Go-To Cards on buses and trains.
"We’re working hard to solve this problem and will notify you as soon as it’s resolved. Thank you for your patience!" it read.
