Minnesota and western Wisconsin golf courses still in full swing

On Tuesday, officials at Baker National Golf Course announced that their course was reopening due to the unexpected mild weather.

MINNEAPOLIS — With no flakes flying yet, hardcore golfers are still swinging away at some of their favorite courses around Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

On Tuesday, officials at Baker National Golf Course announced that their course was reopening due to the unexpected mild weather.

"With nicer weather sticking around, we're reopening the courses and range at Baker National Golf! Both courses and the range will reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 8 and stay open through next week (assuming the weather holds)," the news release stated.

Baker's 9-hole Evergreen Executive Course and the nationally recognized 18-hole Championship Course will both be walking only --  in other words, players cannot use golf carts.
