Train hits, kills man in Buffalo

Police said the man was a 37-year-old Buffalo resident.

BUFFALO, Minn. — Police say a man died after being hit by a train early Wednesday morning. 

The Buffalo Police Department said at about 5:05 a.m., a Canadian Pacific train struck the man on the tracks. It happened near the 5th Street Northeast crossing. 

Police said the man was a 37-year-old Buffalo resident. His identity has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
