WALNUT, CA - Any parent of a toddler who claims 'they' are in control of the relationship is flat-out fooling themselves.
Check out this gut-busting video as proof.
Three-year-old Lennox Salcedo found himself on third base during a recent game and one of his teammates got a hit that 'should' have sent the little guy home in a hurry. In fact, Lennox's dad, who just happened to be coaching third base, urged him to run home "as fast as he could.'
Nope.
Whether he was trying to be a clown or just didn't want to do what his dad was telling him, Lennox started towards home at a snail's pace. Actually, a snail might move faster than the kid was. Lennox moved down the line with the stride of a robot stuck in quicksand. His cousin shot video as the crowd howled.
At last count the video has been viewed some six million times.
Lesson here... if you want a three-year-old to do something, tell him to do the opposite... and still expect the unexpected.
