'Bring ya a** downtown' Friday for 'Wolves Back' block party

The free event will start at 4 p.m. on the corner of 1st Ave. and 6th Ave.

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota Timberwolves fans without tickets to the second game of the best-of-seven series are being told to "bring ya a** downtown" -- anyway.

Team officials announced Wednesday a block party will be held Friday for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals across from Target Center.

The free event will start at 4 p.m. on the corner of 1st and 6th Avenues

It will go until the end of the game and require a ticket through the Timberwolves app.

The block party will have a large-screen TV, pregame entertainment from Nur-D & DJ Cav, a Chick-fil-A food truck, a Michelob ULTRA mobile bar and Timberwolves merchandise for sale.
