Apartment fire displaces 7 people in Goodview

Officials said no injuries were reported after a fire tore through an apartment building on Saturday.

GOODVIEW, Minn. — Seven people are without a home on Saturday after a fire raged through an apartment building in Goodview. 

According to officials, the Goodview Fire Department was called to a three-story apartment building engulfed in fire at 4815 5th Street just before 2 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, they said fire was coming from the building's roof. 

Seven residents were displaced and officials said the building was total loss after part of it collapsed. 

No injuries were reported. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
